ONLINE? HOW IS IT

Question

Hello this may be in the wrong section. Those of you that have attended college online or taken college course online I want to ask how was it or how is it for you? Do you enjoy it, how has it benefited you? And what are pros and cons ? Is the tuition more expensive? Thank you to those who comment.

I personally like online college. It's nice because my schedule is more flexible, I have more free time, and Its convienant bc I do my schoolwork virtually anywhere. You learn about yourself. The cons are that it can be lonely. You miss out on a lot of social interaction that goes on in schools, you need to have good time management skills, be disciplined enough to get your work done. Drawbacks are teachers take forever to reply, assignments are not always clear, and you will have to do a lot of research to figure out technical issues as they arise. However, I feel like it was an overall good experience. I would recommend it!

Online is convenient for me since I work full time so it depends on your schedule. At my school it’s cheaper than going in person. Online can be very easy depending on the class (you can find some answers on quizlet). Some are just busy work like discussions and simple assignments. So it’s up to yo, do you learn by listening to lectures or doing your own reading/writing. For example I am definitely not taking a math course online because I need the teacher to explain stuff face to face. It wouldn’t hurt to take one & see how it goes. Not every teacher is the same of course.
