It's not a vent post I think it is idk lol probably I need advice

Ok here we go .......

Well last Friday when my husband left to Puerto Rico for a really unfortunate situation sad his brother's funeral he received a text from my step mom /his cousin ( confusing yes that's a story for another day ) she send him if he didn't mind a meet up of all of us with my dad....so you can understand ✔✔ my dad and I had a really bad fall out he didn't want us together he hasn't met my daughter it's been 3 years since then basically, soo my hubby wants to he thinks it would be good and finally get over it and whatever but idk to be honest I don't know how to face my dad after everything that was said from both sides thru out the years not just that fall out that we had

I dont mind a meet up and yes be adults and talk but what if it happens again this time there will be my kids in the middle and that's what I'm thinking about I don't want them to get close then boom another bomb between us

Should I or no ???

I'm in need of advice yes I'm confused literally
