Confused

My period is a week late now and I have taken four pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. Does anyone know what this could be? I hate to admit that my boyfriend is right because he thinks it's just my hormones going crazy and that my period maybe just wants to start later. Idk I want a baby but maybe I'm thinking about wanting one to much that it's not happening. Someone help?
