Losing weight while pregnant?

So, I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant with my second kid. Not going to sugar coat it, but I have been so emotionally off this time around. I am so upset with myself physically.

I have always had weight issues. I’ve lost it, found it, lost it again, and you know the roller coaster. Well right before we found out at 6 weeks, I planned out getting back into a routine to lose weight and get into better shape before I got pregnant again (too late, little did I know). Mainly for the health of baby and me. My original goal was to try and lose 50-80 lbs. But of course being pregnant, I feel that’s just way too much...

Everything I read says:

1) when pregnant, work out how you’ve been working out (I hadn’t been working out)

2) it’s not ideal to loose weight when pregnant

AND

3) you’re supposed to be eating approx 400 calories more for babies growth.

What are your thoughts on the idea of starting to lose weight when your pregnant?

Has anyone done it healthily?

Any advice would be appreciated as I’m being extra critical of myself, physically, at the moment.
