Hey ladies, I’ve got a question for ya.

So I’ve recently started dating my new boyfriend, and we have sex a couple times a week. Up until recently I’ve always used condoms during sex, I take birth control daily and have been on it for about 5 years. I had unprotected sex and took my birth control, I made sure he pulled out before he came and none of it got in me. I’ve only had unprotected sex about 3 times in my life, I feel much better about knowing I won’t get pregnant by using birth control and condoms.. not to say I’m not open to unprotected sex but having both makes me feel safer.

Is it really common to take birth control and have unprotected sex? I’m new to it and want to explore it more but want to be as safe as we can about it.
