Will my pregnancy be classed as “high risk”?

So I had a baby 6 months ago.. she was 7 weeks prem and was an emergency c section due to IUGR and placenta problems. Im now pregnant again.. will I be classed as “high risk” ? And if so what do “high risk” pregnancy mean?

Yes forge following reasons:
Delivering preterm
Delivering via (emergent) C-section
For conceiving so early postpartum 
As the other ladies have mentioned, it is a good thing that they will keep a closer eye on you and baby to make sure all is well and both of you are safe.

I am not sure if they will classify you as high risk or not, but this is my 4th baby and all of my pregnancies have been deemed high risk for various reasons. (The first because I had recently had two miscarriages, the second because I was carrying twins, and this one because I am old as dirt.) 
It just means that you get more sonograms, a couple of extra office visits, and maybe a little more blood work. It actually is a blessing in disguise! The label just means they will keep a closer eye on you and baby so that they can intervene right away if they need to.

It depends. My first was high risk due to sever IUGR, she was 4 pounds and born at 37 weeks. The classified me as high risk at 19 weeks. I went in once a week and had an ultrasound once a week until 22 weeks. Then,  I had two ultrasounds a week and a stress test between the two ultrasounds every week, on top of my weekly doctor visit with the regular OB & The Mayer earl fetal medicine specialist. So Monday was ultrasound, Wednesday stress test, and Friday ultrasound, and two doctors appointments somewhere else in the week from 22 weeks on. I had so many appointments I had to move closer to the hospital because when it started I lived 45 minutes away and it was killing me driving so much for them. 
That being said, that was my first pregnancy, and they didn’t classify my second as high risk, and I ended up having him at 24 weeks. He lived three days outside the womb before he passed because his little bitty couldn’t handle it. 
My third was automatically high risk because of those two issues, and I hated the doctor I had with the first two, because I don’t believe she did was she should have done with either pregnancy and wouldn’t listen to me at all about anything. I knew something was wrong with my seconds pregnancy and begged for them to do something for the three weeks leading up to the emergency c section and hospital visit, and had they listened to me even a week before, they could have saved my son. 
Make sure you have a doctor you can trust. And you can request to be monitored by a high risk specialist every once in a while to make sure things are progressing okay. I learned that with my third.

Yes most likely. & just the you will be monitored more often than a not high risk. More ultra sounds more blood work more appointments basically. I’m high risk as well

You will be classed high risk, c section is serious and the scar might cause issues (thinning) in the new pregnancy. Talk to your doctor. Hope all goes smooth!
