Brown discharge

Please could I have some advice.

I’m on the patch but I took it off two days ago so I can start my period but the last time I did I didnt come on until 3-4 days after. I’ve had rough sex the past couple of days where my belly was kinda aching after. This might be tmi but I was a lot of discharge anyway but I was sat on my sofa and I felt something drip out so I wiped and this is what came out. Is it the start of my period would you say and it’s just old blood or what?
