12 week scan gender?

So we went in for our 12 week NT scan and the doctor told us that there was a 99,99% chance that it was a girl. I went ahead and announced it on social media. And now I think I might have gotten a little carried away and shouldn’t have announced the gender. I am just so happy that it’s another girl! Did anyone have this happen to them and end up being a different gender? I think 12 weeks is a little early to be sure but this doctor is supposed to be the best NT ultrasound specialist and made herself clear when she told us that SHE IS NEVER WRONG 🤷🏼‍♀️.

My friend was told she was having a girl her entire pregnant, and she was supposed to be the flower girl at my wedding. I was in Puerto Rico when she was born and my friend texted me and all she said was “ring bearer” 😂 it’s fine that you announced it! Let yourself get caught up in the moment, this is your special time!!

I mean if it’s wrong just do another post later about how funny life is and how quickly it can change and that it’s actually a boy! You can still make it fun! My friend found out she was 6 months pregnant because of a UTI... they said boy. She had her baby shower and a week later said it was a girl lol. Life happens! 💕

My sister just told me that one of the girls that was in her group while pregnant did the chromosome test and it said girl but when they did the scan they said it was a boy.

I just found out I'm having a girl I was 12+5 and then after felt the same way lol but if anything can just re post again later but I doubt it will change

I had my NT scan and technician said maybe a girl but it takes boys up to 16 weeks to develop. Got my blood tests back and it’s a boy.

My doctor was right with both of mine @abt 13wks with an ultrasound.  I go next week for my gender scan and I’ll be 13wks 4days.  I think some doctors are skillful than others, because after learning the gender my 2nd pregnancy I had to get an ultrasound at 16 wks the tech couldn’t tell me the gender she said the baby wasn’t cooperating lol and someone came behind her like no there’s the private part.  I think you’re good lol.

Only way to know this early is by blood work. It’s impossible to tell by ultrasound at this point, it’s just all nub theory and other theories. It’s a guess. 16wks plus is best

I'm doing a 3D ultrasound at 14weeks for the gender! The lady claimed that you cannot tell the gender at12weeks (that's when I tried to schedule my appointment) Haha but I feel like if it were a boy for you they would be able to tell at 12weeks. Lol congratulations on your baby girl!

I probably wouldnt have announced the gender that early but if it comes back a boy at the anatomy scan just tell them. Or tell people exactly like you told us. 99% sure but don’t go out buying pink just yet lol
