How Did you know labor was close?

Hey, ladies! I'm almost 35 weeks and I'm getting curious...did y'all have any signs before labor started that raised flags for y'all? 🤔 Any signals that it was on its way? I'm a first time mom and like learning as much as possible about all this, but the books don't tell it like it really is most of the time.

I had zero indications, my contractions started out of nowhere

I had zero signs. Felt completely normal and woke up to my water breaking.

Looking back i guess I should have known because I felt really uncomfortable the night before. I just assumed it was the usual discomfort and Braxton Hicks.
Woke up a few times during the night because I couldn't settle, but I was just tired and uncomfortable.
In the morning I realized I had contractions. Severe diarrhea and so much gas pains 😩
It took me hours to realize how close my contractions were..

I only knew I was in labor bc I had a sweep the day before ( contractions started about 12 hrs later at 1am) I was a little over 41 weeks and had no signs or symptoms leading up to. The only true signs of labor are water breaking and or contractions that get stronger and closer together :)
