June baby is now a May baby. Need prayers💙
I started having what I felt like was contractions this morning at work but I brushed it off but then noticed it still occuring but thought it was just back pain so I went to lunch with a coworker and noticed it really seemed like contractions.... I already had an appointment today so I wanted to wait until then but my husband talked me into going in and sure enough contractions 2-3 minutes apart and dilated to a 3. They sent me to L&D to give me fluids to see if that would knock them Out but my doctor said I was far enough along that she would not stop the labor if it was true labor...A hour later I was 5 cm so it was true labor and I was admitted. Then I noticed that I had a huge gush of blood and that kept occurring so the doctor was worried about it and stayed around with me and watched it as i bled a lot and had a lot of clots come out... I was checked and was a 9&1/2. I’ve always wanted to go natural so I was doing it... but lemme tell you the end of it was pure hell. So painful and wanted an epidural but i had great support system who was there for me and I had my baby natural. I literally pushed twice. All the pain was worth it. Come to find out I was starting to have a placental abruption so glad I got here when I did. Little guy is in the NICU until he can breathe on his own. Please pray for him!! If you feel a symptom you usually don’t and think it’s labor or somethings off- just get checked out!! Better safe than sorry! Many blessings and good luck to the rest of you June mammas and babies!!
—- addition to post: picture of my little guy before they took him to the NICU and admitted him yesterday. I got to hold him for a minute or two. It feels weird and sad not having my baby in the room with meðŸ˜
