Should I do a blood pregnancy test?

I recently had an IUD (Mirena) from December 18- April 1, my last period was from March 25-April 1. Me and my husband kept having protected sex but on April 17 we had an accident (it ripped), so I took a plan B pill 73 hours after it happened. Today is May 2 and still no period or symptoms. My husband has been having weird cravings, I know thise could be myths but idk if maybe because of the iud being removed I was more fertile. I did a $1 pregnancy test 5 days ago it was negative. Any thoughts, suggestions? Anyone that has gone through something similar after iud removal?
