Looks like a hemangioma

Hemangioma! My little guy has one on his face😳 pediatrician said it will grow until about 6 months then start to flatten and get lighter and should be gone before he starts school!

My daughter had that exact mark behind her ear. The doctor said if she’s had it since birth it’s a birth mark.

Definitely a Hemangioma. My daughter has one in the exact same place! Hers appeared a few days after birth and had gotten a bit bigger and redder. But they’re nothing to worry about and will eventually go. I had one when I was a baby and it’s gone now. In the U.K. they’re also known as ‘strawberry marks’ or ‘strawberry nevus’

Has she always had it, or did it just appear? If she’s always had it, it looks like a birthmark. I have one very similar. If it just appeared, not sure.
