I have a 3 cm intramural fibroid. I lost a pregnancy very early in January and my OB said the fibroid did not affect it and should not affect pregnancy. Now I’m TTC 11 months today and went to a specialist. She did an ultrasound and said the fibroid is at the top of my uterus and near the lining. She wants to do an HSG to see it better because she said if it’s pushing on my lining on that spot it could affect getting pregnant and staying pregnant. Anyone out there with a similar situation? I am really scared of needing surgery to get it out. My OB didn’t think it was an issue and I was so relieved and now of course I’m panicking again.
