39 wks pregnant & I might have a yeast infection

So I wanted to attempt a cervix check on myself. I know I should be very careful doing this and should only be medically done to prevent any type of infection or any other issues. Well, I was in the shower and as I placed two fingers in to find my cervix, I couldn’t quite catch a feel but when I pulled out, I had discharge on my fingers that I can’t quite comprehend and I will say I’ve been pretty irritated and dry down there but I’ve also been having a lot of sex to help kick start labor. The discharge looked white, lumpy and sort of spread apart, almost like what I hear a yeast infection may look like. My question is, could I have one and doesn’t it normally have an odor or a different color to it? I don’t ever see it on my underwear so I never knew I could have had one. I am wondering if it needs to be addressed ASAP only because I could be due any day and it can be bad for the baby when I give birth, correct?
