PPT after heavy bleeding

So I was sent home from work Friday afternoon because I had an asthma attack... I couldn’t be seen by my primary doctor that afternoon so I had to go to ER that night because I needed more asthma medication in order to return to work... well they had me provide a urine sample before chest X-ray and did a pregnancy test. It was positive... however earlier in the evening between 8-10 pm I experienced heavy bleeding so I am so confused and stressed because we have been trying to conceive and I’m so nervous that I could have miscarried before even finding out I was pregnant. I have to wait a few weeks to test again because it takes awhile for hcg levels to go down if I did... this wait is so nerve wracking I don’t know what to do... I haven’t said anything to my fiancé because we have miscarried twice before and I don’t know If I should tell him now that the test was positive but I was bleeding heavy earlier that night or if I should wait until I’m able to test again in a few weeks??? Anyone ever been in this situation??? I need advice and support
