How much folic acid are you taking?
Hi mamas!! I’m pregnant with my first baby, due Dec 5th!! I was curious how much folic acid you all were told to be taking. My doctor told me 1000 mcg a day. I shouldn’t have done this, but I googled it because it seemed really high to me. Started reading some things that said pregnant women shouldn’t exceed more than 1000mcg a day, however certain foods contain it, such as leafy greens, beans, etc that I consume. What are your thoughts on this? Obviously I need to express my concerns with my OB but just thought I’d see what you all were taking too. This is my first time posting!
