is this okay??

so i was driving the other day (im 17) and as i was driving down the road a middle aged man rolled down his window and started driving right next to me at the same speed. i had my window down cause it was hot out and my a/c doesnt work, and i got a little creeped out so i just tried to ignore him. the guy then yells out to me “hey how old are you” i didnt want to tell him my age cause like what if he was gonna stalk me or something so i was like “im 19” and he was like “yeah i could tell you were younger, try not to be so nervous driving”

i thought it was kinda weird and creepy first off because i didnt think i was acting nervous or driving weird and secondly, even if i did seem nervous its still weird for him to drive next to a young and talk to me while im driving. what do you guys think?
