How long after giving birth for things to be back to normal?

I’m pregnant with my first child and I’m kind of worried my fiancé and I will never have sex again, or if we do not regularly. We used to have sex almost every day, or if we were tired/it was a busy week, at least 3 times. I know that having a baby changes things but how did you keep things romantic in your relationship after having a baby, and how long did it take you to be ready to be intimate again?

We started 12days pp! lol I know I know hella early BUT I was put on very strict bed & pelvic rest for my entire pregnancy so it had been a very long time coming! lol plus I had a csection. (2nd one) but docs tell you to wait at least 6weeks PP before anything sexy happens.. but if you are up for it. Go for it. But after having a baby,nursing & all that jazz.. it's totally normal that it does take a bit to work back up to sexy time ya know? Just be prepared and communicate with your hubs and go from there. After baby 1 i was intimate again after 2weeks after baby 2 (a yr later) it took 3weeks. BUT you arent mesnt to until agter your 6week check qnd until you atop bleeding. Your relationship will never be the same again its just the way it is. There won't be enough time in the day to keep having the exact same sexual relationship you had not just that but you'll be completely exhausted and then when you start to get horny and start doing things the baby will wake up crying. 😂
