1st day into the world Constantly nursing?

Hi ladies!

My beautiful son has decided to come a week earlier than expected. It was a planned cesarean that got moved up to yesterday due to low fluids.

Anyhow, he’s a champion at latching ( big wide mouth,no pain) but does not want to be anywhere but on the boob so far. He is latched and suckling for about 20+ minutes on each boob then sleeps for a little bit and if he gets woken up just a little wants back on. Is this normal? It seems more like comfort feeding. I can’t see much colostrum yet
