Labor Story👨‍👩‍👧, Congratulations All April Mommies🎉!

I’ve dreamt about motherhood since I was young, it was truly even a honor to be able to get pregnant as I know many woman cannot. It’s a fascinating experience I cannot explain and makes me more in “awe” of the woman body. On April 18 I got induced for labor due to health conditions with my daughter. I spent 40 hours in pain with a hydration IV in my hand waiting to get dilated with no medication for contractions what so ever because you aren’t allowed a epidural in-till you are 3/4cm. After reaching that point I asked for epidural and got told the anesthesiologist was in a emergency c-section and that I would have to wait. I waited hours for that doctor with a high fever, crying in excruciating pain with my boyfriend by my bedside holding my hand telling me to breath. The contractions were unreal and I told them I felt like my baby was low and as they checked me I already was 8cm. I was in disbelief! I’m screaming for epidural now and still he was in the c-section room, my water eventually broke and I started to push with them yelling at me to not push what so ever. My body didn’t care and made me push anyways and within a minute of pushing they checked me again and she was ready to go. I open my legs and within minutes I welcomed my baby girl into the world ! I walked away with a first degree tear n had to feel every stitch but it was truly worth it. It was a amazing/painful experience but it was a experience that I feel every woman should have.
