Safe ways to go into labor?

Barely dilated at 38 weeks, and I’m ready to get this little boy out 😰 I’m getting a membrane scrape soon, any tricks to try and speed things along?

With our last one we had sex, then I pumped (my non existent breastmilk) for 10 Minutes, repeated the whole thing (not sure, either 30 Minutes or an hour later).
I was having no contractions at all before that. Started at 6:00 pm, water broke at midnight, baby was born around noon the following day. 
I was 38 weeks also and just done with it. I had HG, too much amniotic fluid, and my babies are always huge anyway. 
She was born weighing 8lbs 1oz. 🙂

You aren't at term yet so just relax, enjoy the last few weeks - go out for dinner, go to a movie, enjoy doing things alone because that's all going to change soon! Baby will come when baby is ready.

Safest way to go into labor is waiting till baby is ready. And if the sweep works then your body was ready. I had one and it worked for me but I was 41 weeks. Hang in there and remember due dates are just estimates- you might have a few ways or weeks yet.

Bouncing on a labor ball, nipple stimulation, sex, pineapple (but i heard that especially rarely ever works), spicy food
Some of these might be myths but this is just all I’ve heard!
