Clomid side effect?

Question

This is my first cycle taking clomid. I took clomid on CD3-7 following my provera induced period. Today is CD 9 and I am supposed to start OPKs on CD11. My left ovary has been throbbing all evening. Is it possible that I am ovulating this early? Anyone else have this before?

Definitely test just to be sure. The clomid could make you ovulate earlier or you just have a shorter cycle then you thought. I was on clomid for 3 months and in the last month I was finally able to figure out the exact days I ovulated and it did the trick. Almost 12 weeks pregnant. It can't hurt to test.

Everyone ovulate at different times! You should test just to be sure!
