Mother’s Day?

Are you celebrating Mother’s Day even though you’re pregnant for your first? My husband wants to take me out (which is very sweet of him) but I wasn’t planning on celebrating Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. I always thought it was a little weird to do it while you’re pregnant(showing or not) IMO. But hey, if he wants to take me out, I’m not stopping him. Lol

I am pregnant with my second after ten years right now but when I was pregnant with my first I was only two months pregnant on Mother’s Day . My husband did the same thing yours wants to. He told me “baby the second that baby started growing in you, you became a mother.” To him I was already doing the job of a mother. I would let him treat you. It will make him feel useful especially since they can’t do much while we’re pregnant. Just cause baby is still inside you doesn’t mean your not a mom. CELEBRATE THAT GIRL! ❤️❤️

You ARE a mother though! Just because this baby hasn't made its appearance to the outside world doesn't make you any less of a mother.

My mil still expects the day to be all about her 🙄🙄🙄🙄 so while we originally planned on having a special day doing our own thing, we will likely end up celebrating her. Enjoy going out with your man! You are a mom!

I feel the same way as you. Feels kinda weird to celebrate it for myself when the baby isnt3here yet.  But my brother and i always take our mom out to red lobster for lunch on mother's day, my husband is joining us this year - so in a way i celebrate it all the time :)
