Have you used a home Doppler?

I’m beginning to cave.... I’ve been feeling better in my pregnancy 13w4d and I feel nothing lately.
Had some sharp pains the other night. I just wanna know baby is ok. Next appointment is 3 weeks away.
Should I get a Doppler to ease my mind?

Sharp pain is most likely ligament pain. For some a Doppler is a fun bonding tool or that needed extra reassurance. But for other it can become obsessive and create more anxiety than it stops especially if baby is difficult and/or is in a tricky spot or if mother is not sure how to fully use it

I'm 13w2d and got mine a couple days ago as a birthday gift from my mom. I love it! Just make sure you don't use it as a self-diagnostic tool. Just because your baby has a heartbeat doesn't mean everything is okay. And also don't freak out if you can't find the heartbeat. As long as you follow those two rules there's nothing wrong with getting one! 😊

I got a Doppler for early on. Once I started feeling my babygirl move I stopped using it as much. 
I might check once every two weeks now just to see where her HB is.

I loved my doppler. I have HORRIBLE anxiety and was terrified when I got pregnant that it would stick. I went to babydoppler.com and just ordered the cheapest one. You can tell it's a little cheap and I'm not sure the bpm is correct but you can hear the heartbeat clear as day. Made me feel so much better. Plus it's just fun to listen to and to show others🤷‍♀️

If you don’t have an anterior placenta you will probably start to feel baby move soon. I never got a Doppler and sure had some anxiety between each appt. but once you feel baby move it’s a constant reminder they are okay!
