Breastfeeding and getting pregnant with one ovary
I feel like the chances are slim, but have you ever gotten pregnant while breastfeeding with just one ovary? I'm still breastfeeding my 9.5 month old and AF still hasn't returned. I had to have surgery during pregnancy to remove my right ovary due to a 11cm cyst.
My hubby and I don't often have sex so now when we do, I take a pregnancy test two weeks later. I took it this weekend and it was negative. It was a dollar store one. Well, yesterday, I was super hungry and nauseous. It then dawned on me that I bought those tests a while ago and sure enough, the other tests in the closet were expired! I didn't get out to get a new one yet. I ended up with a migraine but felt better this morning. I had minimal nausea when I was pregnant but I was often hungry at the beginning (like I am now).
Has this happened to you? I definitely want another baby someday but not sure now is the best time. It's all God's timing and I will be happy if I am just not sure if anyone else has experienced this! I'm feeling slight cramping low on the left side (where I have an ovary). I wonder if it's all just AF coming back to town! 😬😣 TIA! 💓 Pic of my little one holding my finger while nursing. I love her dearly!
