Best treatment for diaper rash besides cream? Someone help my baby!

My girl has a BAD diaper rash!!! I’m tried every cream and it’s not going away. I switched brands of diapers and wipes too but it’s not helping. I even gave her an oatmeal bath, which helped a little. And DIY or at home remdedies you guy use on your babies ? It would be MUCH appreciated!!

Update: ended up just taking my girl to the doctor and they prescribed a special cream and she has a follow up in two days. Thank you to everyone who helped !

This is a Mexican thing. Look for a Mexican product called Maizena(corn starch) and put it on like baby powder. That’s what I use and it seems to work. FYI I use Huggies, with huggies natural wipes *sensitive* and Johnson baby powder. Although she still gets red sometimes.

Could it be a yeast infection? Diaper creams won't work on yeast, you'll have to get a prescription for nystantin cream or something from her pediatrition. Long soapy warm soaks in the bath have always taken care of my kids more stubborn rashes, always made sure to rinse their bottom with clean water and pat dry with a soft towel afterward. I never had any real issues with skin sensitivity though, I was lucky. You might have to take her to the doc.

If it’s yeasty I would use full fat, fage yogurt.

Baths with baking soda in them, using corn starch and making sure to pat baby dry before applying cream otherwise you can actually trap moisture under the cream and make the rash worse!
