Any vet techs here?

If so please share what school was like and what your work life is like 😁 
I'm really interested in the field and have been for several years but am weary of getting into it.

I was taking classes a few years back but it wasn't the field for me. I still work with animals just in a different setting. School was very demanding and you have to dedicate a lot of time to studying to keep up. Labs where my favorite as I learn best with hands on stuff. It was a lot of fun and my class mates where great. But as I said I ended up doing something ells so I can't give any insight into anything past school.

I was a veterinary assistant for years.. I loved it. I didn’t see a long time future in it, I moved to human medicine. Now I’m a vet tech/assistant at a University. I’m currently taking online classes. If you have the discipline to do it yourself it’s not too bad.
