My baby HATES HATES HATES enfamil formulas. After feeding him enfamil infant and gentle ease within 2 hours he gets insanely fussy and you can visibly see that he is in pain from the gas. If he somehow manages to fall asleep he wakes himself up because of the gas and the cringing of his stomach and legs. It’s horrible. Knowing this I was extremely disappointed to find out that WIC only offered enfamil products and not the similac that we found works. I was told to have my doctor prescribe him similac and that WIC would offer it. Well today when I went in the lady at the office said she couldn’t approve it because the ped didn’t “diagnose” him, they just listed side effects of the formula. I was very annoyed. She encouraged me to try “enfamil reguline.” Desperate I agreed, despite myself swearing off all enfamil after the last fit my baby had after eating it. But here I am two hours into my 12 week old baby screaming and cringing because of gas. I feel so bad. What can I do in order to change formulas because if I can’t I will have to buy similac and I just can’t afford it. (Florida WIC)
