How soon did you tell your family?

I just found out I’m pregnant (4 weeks) with my first baby. My husband is SO excited he’s already told his dad and step mom. I just feel like it’s too early and I’m nervous something could go wrong.
How soon did you tell your family that you’re expecting?

Ive been pregnant 3 times, well 4 i guess including this one. I told my mom, dad and sister as soon as i knew each time. Ive miscarried 2 of 4 babies, but at least i had their support when it happened. They didnt have to process that i was pregnant AND that i miscarried simultaneously.

Litterally IMMEDIATELY after I got my BFP! lol i understand your hesitation, I'm not sure how your family is but if you feel like telling them, then tell them. If your family if supportive, they will be there through all the ups and downs and that is only a positive thing. Congratulations btw! 💕

We told his and my parents on Christmas at 5 weeks, because we were just too excited haha the rest of the family was not until 12 weeks.

We had two chemicals last year and hadn't told anyone. However with this pregnancy we just somehow knew it would be different and told our close family members the day after we found out. My husband was excited and told everyone at 4 weeks when we found out and miscarried at 6 weeks... very hard, a month later and people still bring it up

Told my so right away and told my parents and his mom after that then waited till 14 weeks to tell anyone else

With my first pregnancy i told my dad at 5-6 weeks at fathers day then sadly miscarried 2 days later. While he wss very supportive and understanding, i wish i had waited and not told him so soon but it is a personal choice when to tell.
