how do i talk to the new kid ??

so there’s a new kid at my school but he’s been at my school for a month so he’s not new new. therefore it would be weird if i was like “hey!” you know? so what’s a way i can become friends w him? he seems lonely and he’s really quiet. should i compliment his shoes or something lol

Just be friendly and play it cool like 
“Hey what’s up I’m *ur name*. Ur new here right?  Oh cool where did you move from? How do you like the school so far/ the ppl here? “ etc. 
With that, if he seems to be keeping convo them keep it going. If he doesn’t seem interested in talking then m, hey at least ya tried. But you could just be like “okay I just wanted to introduce myself. If you ever need anything just lmk. See ya around” or something like that.

I would say hey and give him a compliment and see what he says if he says thank you try to come up with a conversation and once the conversation stops just give it another try another day he deserves someone if he’s lonely and quite everyone needs at least someone at school especially if he’s new or kinda new just put yourself out there and start up a conversation 🤗

This topic is so wholesome and funny lol I was always the first person in my class (when I was in school) to talk to the newer kids. I literally just would either ask them about themselves or start small talk about absolutely anything random. Its simple, you're just thinking about it too much lol

I actually did this today! 
A senior moved into my cluster... with only 2 weeks left of school. I’m a senior as well. So, I just talked to her by asking what her name was and got to know her. Turns out... she’s going with the same major as me! ♥️ Just go out of your comfort zone, hun!
