UTI? Help

Question

I got a call from my ob today that I have a uti and they’re just now calling me when I was there 4 weeks ago.. should I be worried? Don’t google uti cause omg..
They did give me a 5 day antibiotic I need to pick up and start tomorrow. Has anyone has a uti or one while pregnant. Are they serious? Sorry if I sound dumb this is my second pregnancy and I never have had a uti ever.

Ive had tons of utis. Take the antibiotics as directed and youll be fine. Treating it prevents it from getting worse and turning into a kidney infection. If you have alot of burning you can take Azo for the pain (wear a panty liner since itll tyrn your pee bright orange) just drink tons and tons of water. You can drink cranberry juice (100% juice no added sugar), but its usually used more as a prevention method, and you'd have to drink copious amounts. There are cranberry pills which I take daily and they have helped.

You don't sound dumb. Don't stress. I've had one. The antibiotics will take care of it right away. I have heard drinking cranberry juice helps too.
