Marriage Vows - what do you want your partner to promise you? Or you to them?

I’m a marriage celebrant and I’m curious what vows you want your partner to promise you. I am always available to help my clients write their vows if they get stuck or don’t know where to start. They can be funny or serious.

When I get married I will be promising my partner the following vows...

• I promise to do my absolute best to not talk while the NRL is on, ESPECIALLY during finals footy and while the Broncos are playing.

• I promise to always have treats hidden in the pantry for when you want one.

• I promise to work with you as a team to raise our future children with love.

What my partner will promise me...

• I promise to wholeheartedly support you in the decisions you make. I also promise to support you when you change your mind about said decisions. And I will continue to support you when you change your mind again.

• I promise to help you remember the things you forget.

• I promise to work with you as a team to raise our future children with love.

These are just some of the things we will promise each other. But would love to know what you have or what you will promise to your partner, or what they have promised you.
