Slight back story; I’ve known my fiancé since we were 12&13 years old. We dated for 7 months in middle school and broke things off because I felt we were more best friends than lovers. (Hahaha like I knew what that felt like 😂)

Through the years we stayed consistent in contacting each other for updates (went to different schools). During my senior year of high school we met for some smoothies and I felt such a spark with him. Still feeling the best friend groove but it was different. I start to initiate to rekindle our relationship but it turns out I completely broke his heart when we were in middle school and didn’t think he could trust me. 😬 Well with time and healing from his past relationships, we finally started dating again! 🙏🏽🙌🏽

Ladies, it’s been fucking 5 years of us getting to know one another, figuring out how we work, how to synchronize together and how to love each other through thick and thin. I’ve know this man for about 11 years and I’ve never felt so passionate about the future we are building.

He proposed to me this Spring. The spring of our made-up anniversary because we never set a date.

He proposed to my first international trip to Europe in “the city of love”

And it is the most awkward, simple, caring proposal I will ever have in this life and I get nervously excited every time I look at this ring! 💍
