Marternity leave!?!?

When did you take yours, I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and exhausted but I kinda feel bad if I go out before the baby.

I plan on working until I have the baby because I want to use all my time off with my baby.

I had 5 days to myself before my daughter was born and it was so nice to have a chance to organize and clean and REST before she arrived. Take some time for yourself and remember you’re about to go through something really difficult and life changing, REST WHILE YOU CAN cause it’ll be a while.

My plan was to take leave at 39w2d but now I'm looking at going on maternity leave at 34 weeks because of preterm labor. Don't wear yourself out, there is nothing wrong with leaving at 39 weeks.

I’m 33 weeks and am contemplating on taking mine early! I wanted to wait up until the baby is born but I’m so exhausted and I get in pain when I’m on my feet for a long time.

Well I was going to be done at 37 weeks (I’m a teacher so I will be taking the whole summer off) but I have been in so much pain I couldn’t even walk so I took early leave at 33 weeks. There’s no reason to feel bad for being done a week before your baby is due! It’s exhausting growing a human.

I worked all the way up until my due date and like two short shifts after. But I went two weeks past my date and I just couldn’t do it anymore. So I started mine about a week before she was born.
