Ovulation strips

Hi ladies! This is my first cycle using ovulation strips. My husband and I have been TTC for #1 for 5 cycles. These things are REALLY confusing to me. The instructions say that when positive the control line and test line will be the same or darker. My fertile window is scheduled to start Friday... Will the second line really look darker than it does in this pic? To me the lines look so close/similar....
