Mucus plug ??

For the past few days i’m pretty sure i’ve been losing parts of my mucus plug (i know it can regenerate) i just went to the bathroom and saw a big chunk in my panties ... Should I be telling my OB i’m losing it or ?? I’m 36 w + 3 d

No you don’t have to tell your ob. It doesn’t really indicate that labor will be near.

Not unless you are high risk or you were told to let them know. I didn’t call labor and delivery till I was having contractions and they were 4 min apart. I didn’t want to be at the hospital any longer than I needed to be. I went in when they were 3 min apart at noon and had my daughter at 3. I’m due in August and plan to labor at home for as long as possible as well.
