How Long did it take you??

How long did it take for you to get pregnant? Are there any tips to help? 
Any Apps to help with ovulation? 
I am an organised person who can’t take the waiting - I plan every little detail in my head 😞 I know it sounds stupid but I just need to know I’m trying everything I can to keep my mind sane !! 🥰

It took me just over two years. When we started trying I came off the pill but didn’t do any tracking with temp or ovulation. After about a year I started tracking it. I stopped after a few months because I found it just made me sad all the time, putting in the extra effort and thinking about it all even more everyday, and only getting negatives. I started taking vitex berry capsules a couple of months ago. A friend recommended them they are supposed to support women’s health. I got my positive last weekend. I’m about 6 weeks pregnant 😊

I used the Clearblue digital ovulation tests for both my pregnancies. They’re expensive but they work!

It took us 8-9 months. If your ob will cooperate with you and you’re 30+, try to start asking for some basic tests at the 6 month mark. I’m so glad we did. My labs came back fine, but they thought I might have a polyp in my uterus so I had to schedule an appointment to get that checked out a month later. My husband did a semen analysis and it was determined he has low morphology. He started a supplement to help with all that. After it was determined I did not have a polyp in my uterus, I had an HSG done to check my tubes. I got pregnant that same month!
I say get checked out early because you may have some things that need addresses before you can really try, and that can help cut down on the overall time it takes you to get pregnant. Good luck. You’ve got this!

Took me 8 months and I tracked ovulation every month. I suggest using ovulation tests. Order a pack of the Pregmate ones on Amazon. They are cheap and you get a ton of them. I usually started testing around the 10th day of my cycle until my positive disappeared so I knew when I ovulated.

It took me 3 full cycles after my withdrawal bleed of coming off BC. So 4 cycles of you count that one. It can take a healthy couple up to 12 months!

Too long...my doc recommends using clear blue digital ovulation tests and waiting until you get a positive and then bd for at least 3 days in a row. She says 9/10 couples get pregnant within 3 months if they follow this and don’t have any issues. When I can actually get dh to follow it with me it ends up working for us, it has worked for us twice in the past.

Happened the first month, I felt the same way as you and wanted it to happen quickly! I used OPKs, tracked bbt and used pre-seed. A little over kill but it worked 😁
