Tattoo cover up ideas

I got my first and only tattoo at the tender age of of 20. I’m now 32 and it’s starting to look old as I’ve since gained some weight as I’m a mom of three now and also have thyroid issues.

I also want to get my tattoo covered up. I was thinking about getting a black rose because my tattoo is two cherries and they have a lil black in them.

Here is my tattoo, it looks small but it’s about 2 inches big 2 inches wide.

I was thinking about getting something like this just with some color hopefully.

What do you think? Do you think it will turn out okay. Or should I get something different all together? Any advice would be nice. Thank you in advance
