Is it crazy to buy a few little things baby will need when we become pregnant?

I’m on my first round of letrozole and have been ttc for 15 months with pcos.

I have (gender neutral) bassinet, swing, some diy furniture, and some clothes for a baby but people around me are bringing be down

We’ve been renovating the spare room with new trim and paint but according to my family I’m going insane?

I don’t see the issue with getting prepared early, using up money now to save for necessities when I do become pregnant. They are really bringing down my vibes....
