What are these things on top of my window?

I never touched them because I never knew what they were. So sorry about how dusty they are lol. They are on both sides. Is it a curtain rod holder? I want to install curtains for the first time but I don’t want to do any drilling.

They're some type of curtain rod brackets. You'll probably need a drill to take them down.

Looks easy to take down. But you could also put a piece of wood across and decorate it with some flower pots or reuse it and put some curtains for your entry way. Get creative girl..  😃
