Baby has a very aggressive suck while feeding.. anyone else?

First I just want to say I have checked his latch, and he is still correct, and his tongue is still over his lower gums..,

My 8mo son has recently been latching on and sucking a lot harder then usual.. I have some nipple plain issues right now and it may just seem like a more aggressive suck because of the pain.. I am thinking because they are healing milk might not be flowing as freely and maybe he is just frustrated? I also have had breast soreness from what I think are occasionally clogged ducts that I work out, but still they are tender for a bit..

I work full time and pump at work, so he gets a couple bottles at daycare and I know the bottles are easier for him, so is he just getting frustrated and taking it out on my nipples? I feel like it is a vicious cycle of wanting to heal but also still wanting to nurse to keep milk flowing... I’m just struggling with this aggressive sucking and pain.. 😞
