Husband's lying.. Am I right to be upset?

I walked in on my husband in the restroom, on his phone, but here's the kicker.. he immediately turned it away.

We have always agreed that being honest to each other is a priority.

I wouldn't mind if my husband watched porn, but I wish he would be HONEST about it instead of lying.

My husband and I have an open phone policy. If we want to look through each other's that's fine with both of us. But...

He at first said, he didn't want me to see the phone, then said it was a group chat with his friends and they were talking about me. Nowhere was I in the chat to be found.

We ended up arguing because he was being secretive. I just said "I'm just curious, why are you being so defensive?"

Anyway, we made up. But he was acting very off.

He lied to me, so I confronted him about it and asked, why did you lie? He said it wasn't worth explaining.

Now he's trying to tell me someone "made a PORNHUB act in his name and he was trying to cancel it." I've got a pretty strong feeling he was watching porn but I wish he would just be honest. Insight needed..

We both love each other but he promised me he's not lying..

It's just kind of hard to believe that.

He promised me he would not lie to me.

Edit: I'm okay with it, I just don't appreciate the sneaking around.
