What is happening?

Tomorrow I will be 28 weeks. I wanted to ask you something that is not clear to me.
Almost 80%-90% from all the time my belly is super hard. I usually don't feel any pressure or pain, just when the baby change his position.
Is it normal to have the belly hard all the time? How can I recognize contrations if my belly is already hard??
