what to do when meds make me dizzy

i’m on buspar for anxiety. 20 mg twice a day, which is four pills total. it’s my first time ever on meds and i think they’re actually working for my anxiety, which is such a huge relief i could literally cry. the only problem is that my doctor put them on me right before vacation for a month and they make me so light-headed that i’ve been sleeping for about 3-4 hours during the day on top of the 9/10 hours at night. after i sleep the effect goes away. 
since i don’t see my doctor for a month, i’m concerned about whether or not this is a good enough reason to just stop it altogether. i’ve only been taking it for 2 weeks. advice?

I’ve been on Prozac for about a month now. The first 2 weeks I was extremely tired and at one point fainted. It’s normal because you’re body is getting use to the medication. Once it builds up in your body you shouldn’t be dizzy

That’s a really high dose, I’ve been on them for years and take 25 mg a day, maybe lower your dose while on vacation it’s completely safe to do. Or you can break it up to four doses of 10 mg but honestly I would talk to your dr about the dosage cause it seems extreme to start someone on that many mg a day. They usually start you on a low dose, I started on 7 mg and once your body starts adjusting they raise it.
