Taking newborn out?!

So hubby just told me that for Mother’s Day we’re taking family portraits tomorrow at JCPenny’s. I know the pediatrician says to stay clear of the mall and everywhere until 2 months. Do you guys think this photo shoot will be ok if we’re in and out? She’s 1 week old.

You should be fine, just don’t let anyone touch her. And keeping them inside like that for two months is old information especially seeing they clear infants for flying as early as two weeks old.

I would advise following your doctor's recommendations and not the recommendations of strangers in an app. Furthermore, I'd definitely stay home if you live in an area with a measles outbreak ( Portland, for example).

I had my sons pictures taken at 2 weeks old at jc penny. They didn’t touch him at all. Any changes, they had me move him or change him. He’s 5 weeks old today and just fine ☺️ it was definitely worth it!
