Braxton Hicks and how to feel them?

I feel my stomach getting tight but how can I tell it’s really Braxton Hicks? Also how many of those contractions are too many?

To me, both sides on my uterus get hard as a rock and I can’t feel baby body parts. And it really all depends on your doctor, mine told me that if it makes me stop in my tracks and if I have more than 6 in a hour to go in. Plus make sure you are drinking lots of water cause dehydration can cause them also

I told my doctor I've been getting the tight feeling in my stomach a few times an hour, every hour for the last week plus feel crampy sometimes with constant back pain and she told me that's just what happens this late 🤷‍♀️ I'm 34 weeks. She basically said as long as they don't get painful and there's no loss of fluid or blood not to worry

Usually they're not painful although that isnt always the case. My OB told me if I get more than 4 an hour or 1 every 10 min to call.
