I see lots of ladies posting 2-3 weeks postpartum pictures showing that they are back to their prepregnancy weights.

I have to remind myself that it’s only been 5 weeks.

I have to remind myself that I’m 35 and I’m not in my early 20’s anymore.

I have to remind myself that this is my 2nd pregnancy in 2 years (4 pregnancies including my babies in heaven).

I have to remind myself that I grew my beautiful children for 40 weeks 1 day and 41 weeks 3 days.

I have to remind myself that because I delivered 2 big healthy babies that my lower regions have been forever effected and I can’t workout like I used to.

I have to remind myself that my husband loves every piece of me no matter what.

I have to remind myself that I now have an awesome little boy and an amazing little girl that are watching my every thought, word and move.

I have to remind myself that I need to show them that beauty comes from the inside.

I have to remind myself that I need to be confident and love the skin I’m in so my daughter will be confident and love the skin she’s in.

I have to remind myself of these things every time I try to find something to wear, look in the mirror, or just look down.

I have to remind myself these things every single day.

Congrats to all who are back to their prepregnancy weight but that’s not the case for everyone. I have to remind myself that, that’s OK!
