Hard Mother’s Day

I’m having such a hard time today. I work for a church and have to sell tickets after each service today, but I am so stricken with grief that I can’t bring myself to go to any of the services. I had it together until I called my own mother and she talked to me about it. I’m supposed to have my baby kicking with joy as I celebrate my first Mother’s Day with a baby on the way. Instead, I’m grieving the loss silently while those around me celebrate. All I want is to hug my own mom and have her with me, but she lives hours away. It’s just so hard....
