What do they do at 2 weeks appointment?

When you start going every 2 weeks is it just a normal appointment like before just more frequently?
Edit: I’m not getting anymore ultrasounds done the rest of the pregnancy.

For me it was just a urine sample, weight, listen to baby's heart, blood pressure, measuring bump and feeling for baby's position.

Yeah it's the same pretty much...when you go every week is when they start doing the Cervical checks which suck lol

Yeah it’s basically the same, blood pressure, urine, check baby’s heartbeat. They’ll probably check to make sure the baby is head down by feeling your stomach. They also measure your stomach.

I’m sorry I don’t really know. Other then probably monitor your vitals and cervix plus probably Doppler the baby’s heartbeat. I’ve been going every 2 weeks since the beginning but once I hit 20 weeks he says he’ll let me go to doc appts every 4 weeks until 32 weeks if everything continues well. It’s my first pregnancy I guess I’m realizing now it’s not normal to go that often or get US at every appt. Thank you for your post because now I’ll be asking why I’m coming so often. Is he worried about something I should be looking out or is he just being overly cautious.

Bp test, sometimes they take blood, and us to check on babys heart rate and positioning. If they dont take blood it can be 15 mins from the time you sit in the chair to finished
