Do you like the copper iud?

If you have or have had it what are the negatives and positives?

Answer

I had it for 9 months.
My cycle was around 28 to 32 days and my period lasted 3 days, sometimes 4 days, no cramps and regular flow before de IUD.
After I got it my period was always 6 days long and my cycle 28 days sharp. But the first 2 days of my period were BAD in cramping, I took pills and I do have a lot of pain tolerance. My flow was heavier.
I got it removed because I was 1 week late on my period, I went to get it checked and it had moved. 
I think I know when it moved, because I felt it, it was like 3 weeks before and my OBGYN told me that if I had not gone in to check it, it was like not having any BC. 
I am getting Mirena this month.
In all I would use it again, would recommend it if you tolerate a little cramping, and I liked that I still got my period because I could ease my mind. 
I am a 20 year old, no babies yet
